Kyonzté Hughes-Toombs currently serves as Secretary and General Counsel of The Equity Alliance. She is an attorney in Nashville. Kyonzté is very active in the community. She currently serves as Secretary of the Nashville Bar Association. She is the Immediate Past President of the Napier-Looby Bar Association, and Co-chair of the Lawyer’s Association for Women’s Diversity Committee. Kyonzté is a member of the 2017 Class of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program. She is an alum of the Nashville Young Leaders Council as well as a member of the 2015 Class of Nashville Emerging Leaders. A 2015 Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation, she also serves as a mentor for the Foundation’s Leadership Forum. Kyonzté obtained both her undergraduate and law degree from Vanderbilt University in 2001 and 2004, respectively.
