Interested in volunteering? The Equity Alliance needs YOU! We welcome relentless, passionate volunteers who are willing to give their time and talents. The Equity Alliance will host bi-weekly volunteer trainings and orientations to allow new people to get involved in our work. Come enjoy food, drinks, music, networking, and icebreakers. We will discuss how to properly conduct voter registration drives, role-playing, best practices, how to use our online voter tools, and give an overview of The Equity Alliance’s goals, missions, and initiatives.
Volunteer training is required in order to participate in our voter registration events and civic engagement programs.

Eat. Drink. Hustle. (Text Banking Parties)

Want to help get people to the polls and have fun while doing it? We will train you to engage registered voters by texting them reminders about the upcoming election using a new text messaging tool called Hustle. For the May 1st election, we sent over 10,000 text messages. We want to DOUBLE this number! Join us! We provide the food and wine, you bring yourself!
All sessions will be on Tuesdays every week leading up to Election Day at TheLab Nashville, 624-A Jefferson Street. Networking and drinks begin at 6:00pm; training starts at 6:30 pm. No cost to attend. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, October 9
Tuesday, October 16
Tuesday, October 23
Tuesday, October 30
Tuesday, November 6 (tentative, due to Election Day)
